Few Things Remained In My Life

Life was full,
When we were side by side
And everything looked beautiful,
The moon, the sun, the sky,
The flowers danced to our company,
And all nights;
Of winters and summers,
The songs of the cuckoo,
The harkings to Skylark!
And the swish of the birds
Even the rivers roared cheerfully.
But all in the middle of happiness
A sad moment came,
And you left.
Now,
Nothing cheers me
Even the songs of the cuckoo
Tease my memories
Neither the flowers dance
When I pass by
And everything seems dull.
Now,
Few things remained in my life,
Reading sad stories
And heartbroken verses
And writing poems,
Taking sips,
Sips from the tea
And cigarettes.
